Mammography Tech Travel Job in Middletown, Connecticut

Must hold current certification in echocardiography as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are currently hiring a qualified Travel Mammography Technologist for a specialized assignment in Middletown, Connecticut. This position is based in a high-volume medical facility focused on providing precise diagnostic and screening services to the local community.

Assignment Overview

• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (40 hours per week).
• Duration: 13-week contract with potential for extension.
• Clinical Scope: Focus is strictly on screening and diagnostic mammography. No biopsy procedures are required for this role.
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Equipment: Facility utilizes Hologic digital mammography systems. Prior experience with Hologic equipment is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided for highly qualified candidates.
• Compliance: Must adhere to all MQSA and ACR standards for image quality and patient safety.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(M) certification in good standing.
• Connecticut State Radiographer License (Active or in-process).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience in a dedicated mammography setting.
• Current BLS certification.
