Mail Order Pharmacy Technician

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1 years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We're hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, 13-week contract with an established mail-order specialty pharmacy located just outside Nashville. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced pharmacy technicians looking for steady weekday hours, competitive weekly pay, and the potential to transition into a permanent role with a Fortune 500 company!

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions in a high-volume mail-order pharmacy environment
• Assist with medication dispensing and prescription fulfillment
• Verify shipping information and patient demographics
• Enter and update patient profiles within the pharmacy management system
• Provide customer service support for pharmacy patients
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily
• Utilize the WellSky pharmacy system
  
  

Requirements

• Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician registration
• Pharmacy technician experience in a retail, mail-order, specialty, or similar pharmacy setting
• Experience with pharmacy software systems (WellSky experience is a plus)
• Strong data entry and customer service skills
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• PTCB certification required for candidates seeking permanent employment
• Ability to start ASAP
