Mail Order Pharmacy Tech | Independence, Kentucky

A digital mail order pharmacy is seeking five contract pharmacy technicians to support an upcoming increase in volume due to the addition of a new client. This role involves dispensing non-insurance medications, primarily generics with some brand and specialty drugs. The pharmacy serves all 50 states plus the District of Columbia.

Location: Independence, KY

Job Type: Contract (4 to 6 months, approximately 26 weeks)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, operating from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with flexible shifts covering opening and closing times

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment of mail order prescriptions
• Handling data entry tasks related to medication dispensing
• Collaborating with the team to adapt to workflow and manage high-volume demands
  
  

Desired Experience And Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician license valid in Kentucky is required
• Previous experience working in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment is highly preferred
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in workflow and volume
• Strong teamwork skills to support a collaborative work environment
  
  

Candidate must be flexible to cover shifts during the pharmacys operational hours. Those licensed in Cincinnati, OH, who also hold a Kentucky license are encouraged to apply.
