Schedule

• Flexible day/evening shifts (7 AM to 11 PM)
• Rotating weekends
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Accept and dispense prescription medications with accuracy and compliance
• Monitor patient medication use, identifying overuse or non-compliance issues
• Ensure proper storage, legal compliance, and suitability of prescribed medications
• Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation
• Advise patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Provide consultations on both prescription and OTC medications
• Educate patients on handling medical devices such as glucose meters and blood pressure monitors
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following protocols
• Supervise pharmacy support staff including technicians and clerks
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address drug-related concerns
  
  

Desired Experience And Qualifications

• Active Colorado pharmacist license required
• Willing to train candidates transitioning from retail pharmacy to long-term care settings
