IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Sugar Land, TX

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1 years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role is for a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician specializing in IV preparation within a sterile compounding pharmacy focused on wellness medications. The position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with the possibility of becoming a direct hire. The team includes two pharmacists and two technicians working together to manage an average compounding volume of approximately 2,000 vials per week.

Location: Sugar Land, TX

Schedule

• Full-time
• Typically 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts
• Shifts vary based on compounding volume
• Hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  
  

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile compounded medications while maintaining strict adherence to clean room protocols
• Work within the IV sterile compounding environment to support wellness medication preparation
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other technicians to ensure accurate and efficient production
• Maintain a clean, sterile work environment to comply with safety and regulatory standards
• Manage compounding volume efficiently, typically handling around 2,000 vials weekly
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Current pharmacy technician license and PTCB certification
• Sterile compounding certification and demonstrated experience in sterile IV compounding
• Strong discipline in clean room procedures and aseptic technique
