Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1 years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy technician with IV certification is needed immediately for an infusion pharmacy located in Fort Myers, FL. This opportunity begins ASAP with a 13-week contract and potential to convert to permanent based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound IV medications in a clean room environment under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Assist with prescription filling and prepackaging following all regulatory standards
• Collaborate with billing personnel to document prescriptions accurately for reimbursement
• Support final prescription verification and packaging processes
• Maintain medication inventory, including receipt, rotation, and logging of expiration and lot information
• Ensure equipment calibration and a clean, safe work area alongside technical leadership
  
  

Desired Experience And Qualifications

• Proven experience in IV or infusion pharmacy settings is highly preferred
• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license is required
• National certification preferred but not mandatory
