Schedule
- 13-week contract
- 4x10-hour shifts: 7:30 AM 6:00 PM
- On call every other weekend
- Valid ARRT(R) Certification
- Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS Certification
- Experience with IR and neurointerventional procedures
- Provide technical support for IR and neurointerventional procedures including discograms, aspirations, injections, angiography, tumor and spinal lesion embolization, and ablations
- Operate advanced imaging equipment adhering to established protocols and safety standards
- Ensure radiation safety practices are followed
- Assist with training and education of students and residents; serve as a preceptor as needed
- Conduct quality assurance checks on imaging equipment
- Manage supply inventory related to IR and Neuro IR procedures
- Utilize scheduling and billing systems for accurate documentation and coding
- Stay updated on new techniques and technologies through continuing education
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies
