Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR) - Syracuse, New York

Minimum 1 years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is seeking an experienced Imaging – Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to support advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using imaging technology. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating and maintaining IR equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and collaborating with medical teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures using fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound, and other imaging modalities
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards
• Position patients and administer contrast agents as required
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver efficient procedural support
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide immediate care if needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to imaging procedures
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Certification and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with specialization in interventional radiology
• Proven experience working as an IR Technologist or in a similar role
• Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
