Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR) | Florence, South Carolina

Minimum 1 years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications And Experience

• Certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with IR experience
• Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration required
• Current BLS certification (through the American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a hospital or high-volume clinical setting preferred
• Detailed understanding of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and sterile technique
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
  

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with invasive and non-invasive interventional radiology procedures
• Operate imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, angiography, and related modalities
• Ensure proper patient positioning, monitoring, and safety before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and equipment maintenance reports
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations
