Provide expert pharmaceutical care as an inpatient pharmacist supporting a 315-bed medical center located in Tijeras, NM. This contract role offers an opportunity to utilize your hospital pharmacy expertise within a dynamic healthcare environment focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare, dispense, and review medications for inpatient use.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
- Monitor patient responses and provide recommendations for therapeutic adjustments.
- Participate in medication safety initiatives and compliance with hospital protocols.
- Educate patients and staff on medication use as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico pharmacist license required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy settings.
- Strong knowledge of hospital formulary and inpatient medication management.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Schedule:
- Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
- Every other weekend coverage
Contract Duration:
- 13 weeks, starting March 10
