Responsibilities
- Safely prepare and administer chemotherapy, antibiotics, blood transfusions, iron, and various intravenous fluids.
- Monitor patient responses and manage any adverse reactions promptly.
- Perform infusions and injections according to established protocols.
- Document patient care and infusion details accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Comply with fingernail and professional standards necessary for patient safety.
- Current and active RN license.
- Chemotherapy certification highly preferred.
- Proven infusion nursing skills preferred.
- Ability to pass an open book, skills-based exam with a 90% score during orientation.
- Valid drivers license for radius compliance; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility.
- Must not be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with CommonSpirit or affiliated facilities.
- Willingness to adhere to facilitys fingernail policy prohibiting artificial nails.
