A full-time infusion pharmacist position is available for a direct hire opportunity in Ohio. This role focuses on providing high-quality clinical pharmacy services related to chronic and acute infusion therapies within a collaborative team environment. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some schedule flexibility required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compound, dispense, and clinically monitor infusion therapies as prescribed by authorized medical personnel
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations
- Coordinate pharmacy services with nursing, intake/admissions, reimbursement, sales, and marketing to optimize patient outcomes and customer experience
- Participate actively in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Assist with orientation and training of new staff and pharmacy interns
- Serve as a clinical resource for sales and marketing, supporting presentations and review of materials as needed
- Support procurement and inventory control procedures in compliance with company policies
- Ensure dispensing complies with insurance authorization and assist reimbursement teams during audits
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide continuous pharmacy support
- Maintain accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with controlled substance reporting requirements
- Demonstrate knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 standards, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an infusion pharmacy setting highly preferred; specialty pharmacy experience will also be considered
- Familiarity with CPR and CareTend pharmacy systems
- Ability to foster a patient-centered, team-based approach to pharmacy services

- Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
