Responsibilities
The Special Education Teacher will develop and implement Individualized Education Programs, provide specialized instruction based on student needs, adapt curriculum and classroom materials, monitor student progress, attend IEP meetings, maintain compliance documentation, and collaborate with general education teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
Requirements
Applicants must hold an active California Special Education Teaching Credential or be eligible for appropriate certification in California. A bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field is required. Previous school-based experience and elementary experience are preferred.
