What You'll Do
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Assist the supervising SLP with student screenings and assessments (without clinical interpretation).
Follow and implement documented therapy plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Document student performance and progress toward goals, reporting back to the supervising SLP.
Prepare therapy materials and assist with clerical duties related to the speech program.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders OR an Associate's Degree from an accredited SLPA program.
Active Texas SLPA license (issued by TDLR) is required (or eligibility to obtain).
Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the supervising SLP and school staff.
