Key Responsibilities
- Assist with electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations (PFA, radiofrequency, cryo), and Watchman device procedures.
- Support implantable device procedures including pacemaker, defibrillator, biventricular devices, lead extractions, and implantations.
- Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation of pre/post-procedure care.
- Participate in managing conscious sedation and vasoactive medications where applicable.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including VAD, RT, ECMO, and code teams to ensure patient safety.
- Operate and maintain specialized imaging and monitoring equipment such as Philips and GE platforms.
- Minimum 2 years experience in an EP Lab setting.
- RN applicants must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications; Cardiac Cath Tech applicants require BLS, ACLS and ARRT-R/RCIS certification (RCES preferred).
- Proficiency in EPIC charting, hemodynamic monitoring, and EP lab protocols.
- Ability to manage cases involving adults only, with experience in electrophysiology studies and complex device implantations.
- Four 10-hour shifts per week, 0630 to 1700.
- Weekend call rotation and at least one holiday shift per contract.
- Scheduling cycles rotate every 6 weeks; return-to-office requires manager approval.
