Elementary Occupational Therapist School Setting in Naperville, IL

A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services to support an elementary school in Naperville, IL. This role focuses on enhancing students' fine motor skills and sensory processing from March 30, 2026, through June 5, 2026.

Work Schedule & Caseload

• Monday to Friday, 7:20 a.m. 2:35 p.m.
• Caseload of 42-50 students
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Support students fine motor and sensory processing development
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collect, analyze, and utilize data related to student IEP goals to measure progress
• Collaborate closely with student IEP teams, parents, and other school stakeholders
• Conduct fine motor and sensory profile evaluations and prepare comprehensive reports as required
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Occupational Therapy license with experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
• Skilled in sensory processing assessments and interventions
• Ability to develop effective IEPs and monitor student progress through data analysis
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with interdisciplinary teams and families

Compensation

• Starting pay at $55 an hour, based on experience
