Join a specialized cardiovascular team as an experienced Cath/EP Lab Technician in Grand Blanc, MI, on a 13-week contract. This role demands expertise in a dynamic cath and electrophysiology environment, providing critical support in complex cardiac and vascular procedures.
Location: Situated at a premier medical campus, this Cath/EP Lab is equipped with advanced technology and a collaborative atmosphere designed for high-quality patient care. Grand Blanc offers a welcoming community with convenient access to regional amenities, blending small-town charm with proximity to metropolitan features.
Schedule:
- Full-time, weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- One variable weekday off weekly
- On-call requirements: one weekend per month (Friday 5 p.m. to Monday 6:30 a.m.) and four weeknights per month (5 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. the following day)
- No additional weekend commitments beyond on-call
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub for a comprehensive range of procedures including heart catheterizations, peripheral vascular interventions, structural heart and electrophysiology studies
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently manage procedural responsibilities
- Utilize Merge Hemo documentation system (preferred) to support accurate record-keeping and patient care continuity
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience in a cath/EP lab setting
- Proficient in scrubbing all types of cath/EP procedures
- Preferably hold RCIS or RCES certification; ARRT licensure acceptable with relevant cath lab scrub experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certification required
- Strong technical skills and ability to function autonomously as well as in team-based environments
