Electrophysiology Nurse - Cherry Hill, New Jersey

A specialized nursing role is available for an experienced Electrophysiology RN to provide critical support in cardiac care. This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in electrophysiology nursing, focusing on assisting patients during electrophysiology studies and related heart procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments before, during, and after electrophysiology procedures
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate closely with electrophysiologists in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including rhythm mapping and pacing
• Provide education and emotional support to patients throughout their treatment journey
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Cerner, to document patient care
  
  

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Registered Nurse (RN) license, with at least 2 years of experience in electrophysiology nursing
• Strong knowledge of cardiology nursing principles and EP procedures
• Ability to coordinate care effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred
• Compliance with mandatory flu vaccination policy
  
  

Schedule & Work Hours

• 4x10 hour shifts, Day Shift
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities
