Educational Diagnostician in Moriarty, NM

Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1 years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take on a pivotal role supporting students as an Educational Diagnostician for the upcoming 26/27 school year in the Moriarty, NM area. This full-time, contract opportunity will see you working with a K-8th grade caseload, serving as an itinerant professional dedicated to comprehensive student assessments and collaborative problem-solving within school environments.

What We’re Seeking

• Valid New Mexico Educational Diagnostician PED credential (must be active)
• Demonstrated experience in educational assessments and evaluations
• Strong communication skills to contribute effectively at IEP meetings

• Ability and flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as needed

Key Responsibilities Include

• Administering and interpreting standardized and specialized assessments for K-8th grade students
• Conducting formal evaluations to help determine appropriate educational supports and services
• Actively participating in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student plans
• Collaborating daily with teachers, administrators, and related service providers
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Offering expertise and guidance to staff and families regarding student needs and progress
