An opportunity is available for an experienced Director of Pharmacy to provide leadership and pharmacy management services at a community hospital serving inpatient care. This contract role is based in Logan, Ohio, and will begin on March 16, 2026, continuing until a permanent Director of Pharmacy is secured.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily pharmacy operations including staffing, scheduling, and participation in meetings.
- Oversee narcotics ordering and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide pharmacist in charge (PIC) duties ensuring operational excellence.
- Participate in sterile compounding and inpatient pharmacy services.
- Serve on-call coverage with an anticipated 1-2 calls per week, including rotation for weekend coverage every fourth weekend.
- Support specialty service lines including Emergency Department, Infusion, and Orthopedics.
- Utilize pharmacy systems including EPIC order entry and Pyxis automation with training provided as needed.
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license required.
- Proven inpatient pharmacy experience with familiarity in intravenous (IV) medications and 340B program management.
- Ability to lead pharmacy staff and coordinate resources effectively.
- Experience or willingness to learn EPIC software preferred.
- Background working in hospital pharmacy environments with sterile compounding capabilities.
- Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- On-call coverage evenings and weekends as specified
