Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care across multiple dialysis modalities including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, apheresis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) in critical care settings
- Operate and maintain dialysis equipment such as B Braun machines, NXStage for apheresis and CRRT, and Baxter systems for peritoneal dialysis
- Monitor patient status, manage treatments, and respond promptly to emergencies during outpatient and inpatient care
- Perform machine cleaning and upkeep, maintaining strict adherence to infection control protocols
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule covering evenings and weekends, supporting continuous patient care availability
- Current RN license with dialysis nursing experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory
- Ability to work variable shifts with anticipated 30 hours per week and overtime opportunities
- Comfortable rotating on-call duties including nights and weekends
- Shifts between 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM
- On-call rotation Monday through Sunday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM (six times in six-week rotation)
- Every other weekend coverage on Saturdays and Sundays
- Holiday work as needed depending on contract length
