Responsibilities Include
- Conducting evaluations and interpreting audiograms to support student assessments
- Managing a caseload of students with deaf or hard of hearing needs from PreK to 6th grade
- Participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Collaborating with educators and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Utilizing expertise to adapt curriculum and instruction for accessibility and inclusion
- Valid Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teaching License through the Texas Education Agency (TEA)
- Previous Texas school-based experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of hearing loss and communication strategies for K-6 students
