CVOR RN in Overland Park, KS

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with specialized skills in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing. This contract position offers a structured schedule with 10-hour day shifts, four days per week, providing a focused and balanced workweek for dedicated candidates. The role demands professionalism, expertise in cardiac surgeries, and flexibility during holiday periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the CVOR, including scrub and circulating duties during cardiac surgeries
• Collaborate with surgical teams in a Level 1 trauma center environment, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes
• Participate in call rotations, including holiday and weekend coverage as required
• Support multiple operating suites, including Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD when needed
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR nursing experience in a Level 1 trauma center
• Strong recent scrub experience in cardiac surgeries, combined with proficient circulating skills
• Current Kansas RN License and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Willingness to work on holidays and participate in on-call rotations
  
  

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts, four days per week (06:30 17:00)
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Holiday and weekend on-call responsibilities
