Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging utilizing CT and PET/CT modalities according to established protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing and transport staff to enhance patient care
- Adhere to safety and quality standards with appropriate use of Siemens and GE imaging equipment
- Support patient throughput in a high volume setting averaging 325 patients daily across modalities
- Participate in orientation and continuing education to maintain proficiency and compliance with facility standards
- Work scheduled 12-hour night shifts (8 PM 8 AM) with weekend rotation and holiday coverage as required
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in CT imaging
- Required certifications include BLS and ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT)
- NC state licensure is not mandatory
- Ability to wear black scrubs and comply with department dress code
- Readiness to work in a trauma Level IV designated teaching hospital setting focused on patient-centered care
