CT Tech in Dunkirk, NY

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

If you are an experienced Imaging Technologist skilled in CT, X-ray, or PET/CT, this contract opportunity is available for a full-time technologist ready to start as soon as possible. The schedule includes varied shifts to cover essential imaging services, including days and mids, such as 3p-11p, 1p-9p, 11a-11p, with occasional 9a-9p shifts as needed to meet the minimum of 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Radiologic Technologist license required
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Active NY injection license necessary
• Experience with CT, X-Ray, and PET/CT imaging modalities strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to various shift times
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  
  

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging (CT, X-ray, PET/CT) according to physician orders and established protocols
• Administer contrast agents as needed in compliance with state regulations
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain equipment and ensure safe operation at all times
• Apply infection control and radiation safety principles diligently
