A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist ready to provide expert pharmacy services in a hospital setting. This role requires a dedicated professional to support the healthcare team with clinical expertise and leadership in pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and coordinate workflow efficiently
- Consult with nurses and physicians to optimize medication therapy
- Utilize IT systems such as Cerner and Omnicell for medication management and documentation
Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Active California pharmacist license
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with healthcare providers
- Full-time availability to commit to a 13-week assignment
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems including Cerner and Omnicell
Location and Schedule:
- Based in Albion, CA, with travel to Fort Bragg, CA
- 4 days per week, 10-hour day shifts schedule
- Immediate start date
