A healthcare opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory procedures in West Valley City, UT. This contract position offers the chance to work in a dynamic interventional lab that performs cardiac cath and intervention, interventional radiology (IR), and neuro thrombectomy. The role requires on-call availability every other weekend and a few evenings each week, ensuring critical care coverage for an accredited STEMI center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in the cath lab during cardiac catheterization, IR, and neuro thrombectomy procedures.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the healthcare team to support patient care and safety.
- Operate and monitor advanced imaging and hemodynamic systems, including Phillips imaging, Merge Hemodynamics/CPACS, and Epic charting.
- Respond effectively during on-call periods, assisting with urgent cardiac procedures.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid RN licensure with cath lab nursing experience.
- Proficiency with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Familiarity with Phillips imaging equipment and Merge Hemodynamics/CPACS systems preferred.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends on call.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems, especially Epic, is an advantage.
