Key Responsibilities
- Circulate and monitor patients during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Administer medications and manage sedation protocols for patients undergoing cardiac caths and advanced interventions such as Impella, Watchman, TAVR, and ECMO
- Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, respiratory therapy teams, and clinical management to ensure patient safety and high-quality care
- Support cases involving a diverse patient population, including pediatrics from days old to adults with complex cardiac needs
- Utilize EPIC, Cupid, and Sensis EMR systems along with Siemens imaging equipment to enhance procedural efficiency and documentation
- Active RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year Cath Lab nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
- Proficiency in sedation nursing and medication administration during procedures
- Experience or willingness to learn to scrub cases is a plus but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team focused on patient safety
