Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures
- Monitor patient condition before, during, and after invasive cardiac procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain sterile fields and follow all catheterization lab protocols
- Document patient status, procedure details, and nursing interventions accurately
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and postoperative care
- Current RN licensure in good standing
- Previous Cath Lab nursing experience required
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, procedures, and nursing care standards
- Ability to respond promptly to emergency situations
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
