Cath Lab Nurse (RN) in Lincolnton, NC

Providing expert care in cardiac catheterization, this RN Cath Lab role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with advanced technology and dedicated leadership support. This contract assignment is based in Lincolnton, NC, with a requirement that the travel nurses permanent residence be at least 50 miles from the home unit.

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Current RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
• Experience with IV pumps such as Alariso and medication dispensing systems like Omnicell preferred
• Strong critical thinking and patient care skills discussed during the interview
• Ability to work collaboratively within a specialized catheterization department

Responsibilities And Duties

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the catheterization lab, assisting with procedures and interventions
• Collaborate closely with department leadership and multidisciplinary teams
• Adhere to facility policies and maintain compliance with healthcare standards
• Participate in scheduled weekend rotations, call shifts, and fulfill approximately 75% of holiday shifts (details discussed during interview)
• Complete departmental and facility orientations to ensure seamless integration into the team
