Qualifications And Experience
- Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent required
- Previous work experience in a cath lab or imaging department
- Strong understanding of cardiac procedures, medical terminology, and safety protocols
- Proficiency with imaging equipment, radiation safety, and sterile techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compliance with state and national regulatory standards
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Operate imaging and monitoring equipment with precision during catheterization
- Prepare and maintain supplies, instruments, and the sterile field
- Monitor patient vital signs and document procedural details meticulously
