Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist | Brick, New Jersey

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• 40 hours per week, 4x10s
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed (1 summer, 1 winter holiday)
• On-call required: minimum 7 shifts, maximum 10 shifts
• No float required

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
• Experience with permanent pacemaker placement preferred
• Familiarity with Impella and balloon pump usage required
• Mac lab experience and EPIC EMR exposure strongly preferred
• BLS certification and Radiology licensure required
• Competency in sterile tray preparation and patient pre-procedure care
• Ability to wear green scrubs as per department standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all cath lab procedures, including angioplasty, rotablator, valvuloplasty, and device insertions
• Prepare and organize equipment, ensuring a sterile field for each procedure
• Prepare patients, including EKG lead placement, skin prep, and proper draping
• Support the clinical team in monitoring and emergency interventions as needed
• Operate and maintain digital cine technology, manage image storage and retrieval
• Engage in inventory and equipment upkeep, including calibration and evaluation
• Communicate and adapt care to meet diverse patient needs, involving family when appropriate
• Uphold the highest standards in clinical competency and organizational policies

$2,783 - $2,944/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
