This full-time, school-based role focuses on helping students improve communication skills essential for academic achievement and social development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Support students with a variety of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatics
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Full-time schedule following the academic calendar
