A full-time Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification is needed to support K-12 self-contained programs across multiple schools in the Jacksonville area. This contract position will run from ASAP through 5/28/2026 and requires on-site presence only.

- Provide consultative support and guidance to teachers in K-12 self-contained classrooms
- Conduct observations and assist with data collection to inform behavior plans
- Model effective behavior strategies and interventions for staff
- Develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and support individualized behavior programming
- Collaborate with educators to improve student outcomes based on best practices in behavior analysis
- Active BCBA licensure required
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of behavior analytic principles and data-driven decision making
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with educators and staff
- Location: Jacksonville area, Florida (Duval County Public Schools)
- Assignment: Itinerant support across 5-7 schools (specific schools to be confirmed)
- Work schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Contract type: School year (CSY) contract with a specified end date
