Key Qualifications
- Current Minnesota Teaching License required (Tier 3 or Tier 4)
- Experience in Special Education, with a strong foundation in behavioral interventions
- Ability to consult and coach educators in creating and implementing behavior plans
- Skilled in managing a diverse caseload and adapting instructional strategies accordingly
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Resume must accompany application
- Teach high school special education classes for 0.5 FTE each morning
- Serve as a Behavior Intervention Specialist for 0.5 FTE each afternoon, supporting elementary staff
- Collaborate with school teams to develop and refine behavior intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress monitoring
- Maintain open, effective lines of communication with families and colleagues
