Assistant Home Infusion Director of Pharmacy | Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Director of Operations position is available to oversee a growing specialty home infusion pharmacy in Oklahoma City, OK. This direct hire role offers the opportunity to lead pharmacy operations and staff while ensuring delivery of high-quality pharmacy services and medical supplies in compliance with all applicable regulations.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, daytime hours
• Administrative on-call duties
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall pharmacy and operations functions to ensure effective, compliant healthcare delivery.
• Ensure adherence to USP 797, USP 800 standards, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Oversee or provide compounding, dispensing, and clinical services safely and efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, regulatory, and procedural standards.
• Accurately prepare prescriptions, solutions, and medications while supervising clinical pharmacists, technicians, and interns.
• Conduct patient assessments and medication plan revisions to address drug-related issues or needs.
• Oversee controlled substances security and distribution.
• Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and sales teams, serving as a drug information resource.
• Lead managerial duties including hiring, training, performance management, payroll approval, and strategic planning.
• Participate in and maintain pharmacist on-call schedules.
  
  

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or R.Ph. with proper clinical expertise required.
• Current, good standing Oklahoma pharmacist license (additional licensure may be necessary).
• 3-5 years pharmacist experience, ideally with compounding and specialty pharmacy or home infusion background.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• CPR and Care Tend certification preferable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Strong infusion knowledge with ability to educate and lead teams effectively.
