Dining Room Manager Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the dining room, ensuring a high standard of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Lead, train, and coach serving team members to deliver a welcoming, professional, and efficient dining experience.
• Maintain staffing schedules, proper table settings, and an inviting dining atmosphere.
• Ensure all meals are served in accordance with dietary needs and community standards.
• Uphold Solera’s culture of hospitality by modeling excellent customer service at all times.
• Support kitchen and service staff when needed, including setting tables, serving, and clearing dishes.
• Monitor labor budgets and inventory for dining operations.
• Collaborate with leadership to keep dining services running smoothly and efficiently.
  
  

Dining Room Manager Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3 years in restaurant or senior living dining, with team leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities. Able to manage schedules and multitask effectively.
• Character: Integrity, compassion, and a passion for hospitality and serving older adults.
