Dining Room Manager Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the dining room, ensuring a high standard of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
Lead, train, and coach serving team members to deliver a welcoming, professional, and efficient dining experience.
Maintain staffing schedules, proper table settings, and an inviting dining atmosphere.
Ensure all meals are served in accordance with dietary needs and community standards.
Uphold Solera’s culture of hospitality by modeling excellent customer service at all times.
Support kitchen and service staff when needed, including setting tables, serving, and clearing dishes.
Monitor labor budgets and inventory for dining operations.
Collaborate with leadership to keep dining services running smoothly and efficiently.
Dining Room Manager Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 3 years in restaurant or senior living dining, with team leadership experience strongly preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities. Able to manage schedules and multitask effectively.
Character: Integrity, compassion, and a passion for hospitality and serving older adults.
