We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hair Transplant Technician to join our specialized medical team. Duties
- Prepare patients for hair transplant procedures, including data collection and assessment of medical history.
- Assist surgeons during hair restoration surgeries, including graft handling, suturing, and maintaining aseptic conditions.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses throughout procedures, providing immediate assistance as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medical records using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to uphold safety standards.
- Support preoperative and postoperative patient care, including education on recovery and follow-up care instructions.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of surgical equipment in ambulatory surgery centers or hospital operating rooms.
- Participate in quality assurance activities related to patient safety and procedural efficiency.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to hair transplantation and surgical procedures.
- Experience with aseptic techniques, infection control practices, and sterile field management.
- Proficiency in analyzing patient data, vital signs, and understanding critical care principles such as those used in ICU or Level I/II trauma centers.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or similar hospital information systems.
- Ability to perform suturing and assist with minor surgical tasks in an outpatient setting.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to patient comfort and education.
- Experience working in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or ambulatory surgery centers is preferred.
