An intern's hourly rate is based on the major/degree being pursued and the number of completed academic hours achieved before the start of the internship.

Warehousing Industrial Engineering Intern – Job Description
The Warehousing Industrial Engineering Intern supports the analysis and improvement of warehouse operations. This role provides hands-on experience in optimizing processes, improving productivity, and using data to drive operational decisions within a distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing warehouse processes such as receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Support time studies and data collection to evaluate labor productivity
- Help identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Participate in continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma) projects
- Assist with warehouse layout planning and slotting optimization
- Analyze operational data using Excel or other tools to track performance metrics
- Help create reports, dashboards, and visual presentations of key KPIs
- Support implementation of new processes, tools, or systems
- Work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership teams
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Strong interest in warehousing, logistics, or operations
- Basic knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables preferred)
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with Lean principles or continuous improvement concepts
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
- Understanding of warehouse operations or supply chain fundamentals
- Hands-on experience in warehouse operations and industrial engineering practices
- Exposure to real-world process improvement projects
- Data analysis and reporting skills development
- Experience working in a fast-paced logistics environment
