What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automatic pool cover technician trainee position at Solar Pool Covers?
Solar Pool Covers, LLC is a small family-owned business that has been operating out of Middletown, MD, for over 28 years. We are currently looking for a candidate to be trained on the job to work on electric automatic safety pool covers. The position is ideal for someone looking to gain experience and grow into a technician position with their own trainee. Experience in light construction and/or manual labor is a plus. Must be proficient in using hand tools and comfortable around electrical. Must have a "can-do" attitude and be able to keep busy. Though our office and dispatch location are located in Middletown, Maryland, the work itself is spread across the tri-state area. Reliable personal transportation to and from our office is required, but transportation to and from job sites is provided. Some heavy lifting required. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions from spring to fall. Overtime is required on many weekdays during the busy summer months, but weekend work is seldom required. Starting wages are $18/hour.
