NO AGENCIES PLEASE
Solar Gain is looking for a Project Manager to run the heartbeat of our service operations—scheduling, materials, tech dispatch, and customer communication—so every repair, warranty call, and optimization visit lands on time, on budget, and up to our safety and quality standards. You’ll be the primary point of contact for service and warranty work and the bridge between customers, internal teams, and subcontractors.
What You’ll Do
Own the service pipeline: schedule and manage service calls, RMAs, and warranty tickets; assign technicians and coordinate with Operations, Design, Procurement, and subcontractors.
Track scope, schedule, and budget across multiple active jobs; issue and follow up on change orders when work expands.
Drive documentation: initiate engineering/permitting packages; maintain organized project records, reports, and communications.
Manage materials: request, verify, and track parts; confirm costs and delivery timelines; monitor COGS in the field.
Support quality: perform basic site evaluations and QA inspections; assist technicians with remote diagnostics and solutions.
Coordinate utilities & AHJs: submit applications, communicate with representatives, and keep approvals moving.
Close the loop: ensure timely completion, follow up with customers, and document wins and improvements.

Efficient crew planning and calendar management that balances billable and warranty work.
On-budget execution with timely ticket response and project completion.
Clear, reliable reporting and high customer satisfaction scores.
What You Bring
Experience: 3–5 years in the solar industry (service/maintenance focus preferred).
Technical chops: Maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of solar systems (panels, inverters, battery storage); strong diagnostics on electrical/performance/connectivity issues; familiarity with field QA and safety.
