What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Solar Installer position at Solar Gain, Inc?
Solar Gain is seeking experienced Solar System Installation Technician to join our Residential Services Team for projects throughout Arizona.
- Layout and mount hardware on various roof types;
- Secure and wire modules and assemble all racking and solar arrays;
- Seal roof penetrations, then the set up of the monitoring system;
- Gather data and complete documentation, and
- Clean the job site.
Note: This position requires physical stamina, as it involves working at heights, lifting heavy equipment, and being exposed to outdoor weather.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required. An
associate degree or higher is preferred.
- Professional appearance
- A clean driving
record with a valid driver’s license is required for driving to various work site locations.
- Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and
wiring.
- Ability to build and plumb solar panel arrays.
- Proficiency in fixture installation and solar
panel mounting.
- Understand high voltage systems and
compliance with NEC regulations.
