Solar Electrician – Commercial & Industrial (C&I)

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team in the role of a Solar Electrician - Commercial & Industrial (C&I). Responsibilities:
Install and wire solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and commercial properties.
Install electrical components such as inverters, disconnects, combiner boxes, and electrical panels.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
Run and bend conduit, pull wire, and complete system tie-ins to the electrical grid.
Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
Inspect and maintain existing solar systems when needed.
Work with installation crews to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Maintain job site safety and follow OSHA safety requirements
Stay up to date on industry standards, safety regulations, and new technologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety regulations.
Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and fix electrical issues efficiently.
Attention to Detail: Ensure all work complies with safety standards and codes.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and climbing.
Communication Skills: Effectively communicate and cooperate with team members.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years of electrical experience (solar experience preferred)
Solid communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to read electrical diagrams, plans, and blueprints
Knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety standards.
Experience / proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in solar installation.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Capable of standing, bending, climbing, and working for extended periods.
Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops
NABCEP Certification a strong plus.
OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on project needs.
Occasional travel to project sites, warehouses, or vendor locations may be required
