Duties
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within accounting software such as QuickBooks, Ramp or Salesforce.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to verify accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare journal entries and support general ledger accounting activities in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including ledger reviews and financial statement preparation.
Skills
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and Ramp.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Knowledge of GAAP standards and governmental accounting practices is a plus
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy.
- Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation and general ledger accounting tasks efficiently.
- Strong math skills combined with analytical thinking for account analysis and budget support.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and ensure compliance with internal controls.
