JOB SUMMARY

As a member of the team as an Ultrasound Tech, you will help facilitate the operations of our Imaging Center. You'll report directly to the Site Manager/Lead Technologist.

As a key member of the Sol Radiology team, your insights and feedback will help us improve how we support the organization as well as our partners, and as you deepen your understanding of our business and internal processes, your scope of responsibilities will grow, allowing you to have a long-lasting impact on our business.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Knowledge of ultrasound physics, equipment operation, safety protocols, and image acquisition techniques

· Familiarity with anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

· Completion of an accredited sonography program preferred.

· Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in one or more of the following: Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular is a minimum.

· Certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography and Vascular Sonography will be considered in lieu of equivalent ARDMS certifications.

· Any applicable state licensure.

· At least two (2) years of scanning experience.

· BLS certification issued by AHA.

· Must maintain all required continuing education credits and licensure during employment.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

SKILLS

· Acquire and analyze sonographic images obtained.

· Review and analyze your captured images to ensure they meet diagnostic quality standards.

· Follow specific protocols and techniques to obtain high-quality images.

· Identify normal and abnormal structures. Document findings accurately and provide preliminary reports to physicians for further diagnosis.

· Assist and train other sonographers.

· Able to provide excellent patient care.

· Able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Someone who can foster teamwork and have interpersonal awareness and initiative.

· Focused on delivering a high level of quality in your work.

Able to adapt to changing situations and think critic
