What does the job consist?
Within the Sustainability & Safety organization, safety is a major priority at Soitec. The team manages numerous projects aimed at strengthening the protection of both our employees and our site. In this context, you will be responsible for several key missions contributing to the development of our safety culture and the improvement of risk management processes, including:
Project Management:
Developing a tracking and verification system for our regulatory compliance obligations.
Implementing a chemical product management database at the Soitec Group level.
Safety Culture Development:
Collaborating on the implementation of an effective communication campaign for the coming year.
Participating in the organization of safety events (Safety Week, award ceremonies, safety videos, "Safe" bulletins, etc.).
Department Operations & Support:
Providing HSE support for the analysis of accidents and minor injuries, as well as industrial hygiene measurements.
Acting as an active support for cross-functional projects related to safety and risk prevention (e.g., maintenance risk assessments).
Monitoring Soitec Group Safety KPIs and performance indicators.
Requirements & qualifications
You are pursuing a Master’s degree or an Engineering degree in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and are looking for a 12-month apprenticeship (work-study).
You are a strong communicator, capable of convincing and mobilizing others around HSE challenges.
You are reliable, rigorous, and organized, with the ability to complete tasks with high degree of autonomy.
You are comfortable with IT tools, and your proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is considered a strong asset.
