Network Security Engineer (iNET)
We're hiring a Network Security Engineer to own Firewall, Proxy, DNS and Load Balancer infrastructure for a production environment.
You'll work daily across Checkpoint, Fortinet, F5 BIG-IP, Infoblox, McAfee, and Bluecoat, handling deployment, maintenance, OS upgrades, and 4th-level troubleshooting. This role also requires 24x7 on-call support and some regional travel.
What you'll do:
- Monitor and support Firewalls, Proxies, DNS and Load Balancers across the Americas
- Design and troubleshoot multivendor Firewall platforms (Checkpoint, Fortigate)
- Manage HTTP/HTTPS and SOCKS proxy environments (Bluecoat SG series, McAfee appliances)
- Administer F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM and Infoblox DNS/DHCP
- Maintain detailed technical documentation for management review
- Partner with the Information Security team on policy implementation and review
What you bring:
- Hands-on expertise with Checkpoint, Fortinet, F5, Infoblox, McAfee, and Bluecoat
- Strong grasp of TCP/IP, clustering, transparent mode, SSL/VPN, and CLI (Bash, shell, IOS)
- Experience with Checkpoint Multi-Domain Server and Fortinet Management tools
- HP Network Automation or Solarwinds experience is a plus
- Comfort with 24x7 support rotations and occasional regional travel
Salary : $70 - $80
