SoHa Surf Shop LLC in South Haven, MI is looking for enthusiastic, style-savvy retail associates to join our growing team. We operate three unique stores — SoHa Surf Shop, The Shoe Collective, and Emma's Boutique — and we're seeking year-round team members who love fashion, lifestyle retail, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
• Welcome and engage customers with a warm, positive attitude and genuine helpfulness.
• Guide customers through our product offerings, suggest items based on their style and needs, and assist with sizing and fit.
• Share product knowledge on surf, beach, footwear, and boutique apparel to help customers shop confidently.
• Process transactions accurately using our POS system (cash, card, and gift cards).
• Keep the sales floor beautifully organized, restocked, and visually appealing at all times.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment across our three locations.
• Use good judgment to resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
• Maintain consistent scheduling and communicate proactively with management.
Qualifications
• Passion for fashion, lifestyle, footwear, or surf/beach culture is a big plus.
• Outgoing, friendly personality with strong communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual — weekend and holiday availability required during peak season.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light stocking duties.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
