Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team responsible for production planning and scheduling activities
- Coordinate production schedules to align customer demand, material availability, labor capacity, and manufacturing priorities
- Monitor schedule performance and proactively identify risks that could impact delivery commitments
- Partner with manufacturing, procurement, engineering, quality, and operations teams to resolve production constraints
- Maintain planning parameters including lead times, safety stock levels, lot sizing, and planning data accuracy
- Analyze production and inventory metrics to improve schedule attainment, inventory performance, and on-time delivery
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning effectiveness, operational efficiency, and process standardization
- Support forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory management efforts
Qualifications
- Experience leading production planning, production control, scheduling, or supply chain teams within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of Master Production Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning, and capacity planning
- Experience utilizing Oracle ERP Supply Chain and Manufacturing applications
- Ability to balance changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing operation
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
- Experience supporting high-mix manufacturing environments
- Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
